Now we and our three children are in Mexico. We need help to establish our life in a new country.
If they had remained in Russia, they would have faced the grim prospect of arrest and being forced to participate in a war they vehemently opposed. Recognizing the severity of the situation and the potential danger it posed to their family, they made the difficult decision to seek refuge in the States. Now they are in Mexico, going through the uneasy path of immigration. They are in need of assistance and support to rebuild their lives in this unfamiliar environment.
They made the courageous decision to leave Russia because they strongly opposed participating in a conflict that would involve harming innocent people. With a deep connection to their friends from Ukraine and a strong belief in anti-war efforts, they actively engaged in activities to promote peace and denounce the ongoing conflict. Unfortunately, their commitment to advocating for peace caught the attention of the authorities, including the police and the FSB, who attempted to investigate them.
